How to find loot island

Floating loot islands were introduced in Season 2, Chapter 4, and they've been a recurring feature in Fortnite ever since. Players can head to and claim these locations as soon as they spawn to discover all the rare loot they have to offer.

All About Floating Loot Island

Loot islands give nearby players a chance to obtain loot that would be difficult or impossible to find otherwise. They used to show up halfway through the game, but that's different now and now they take longer to show up.

Floating islands will begin to break apart towards the island before the fourth storm circle, and they won't actually appear until the fourth storm circle begins to close in Fortnite, meaning players won't be able to survive until the very end of the game.

Once a loot island is split into islands, a marker will appear on the player's map. If they're nearby, they should always consider going there, as there's plenty of loot there that can provide a clear advantage when continuing the game later. How to Enter Loot Island and Capture It
