How to play for beginners
PART 1: About the game
To put it simply, it is a development + competitive auto-chess type game. Similar to CR, before you have a full deck, cultivation is the main thing; after the card set is formed, competition is the main thing.
PART 2: Chess piece nickname
Ice Mage: Ice Mage
Super Rider: Super Rider
Dart Goblin: Flute Brother
Goblin pitcher: Brother Spear
Archer: AC
Mage: Fire Mage
Skeleton Giant: Big Skeleton
Skeleton Guard: Shield Skeleton
Digger: miner
Boulder Pitcher: Fat Blue
Lightning Mage: Electricity, Yang Yongxin
Mini Pickup: Small Pickup
P.E.K.A.: Big P.I.K.A.
Valkyrie: Valkyrie, Valkyrie
Barbarian: Yellow Hair
Battle Angel: Nanny, Angel
Barbarian King: Barbarian King
Queen of Bows and Arrows: Queen, Queen
Countess: Vampire
Monk: Monk, Old Man, Primo
PART 3: Chess piece types
Chess pieces are the basis of this game. Chess pieces can be divided into two categories. The first category is the hero category, which mainly includes five types: Barbarian King, Queen, Shield Girl, Vampire, and Monk. The second largest category is Mini, which currently has a total of 20 pieces. This category can be roughly divided into:
-Clash type: The skill will be released once at the beginning of each battle, and only once.
-Charging type (Super): The skill will be released after the energy is full
-Passive: has special normal attack methods or special effects
-Death Type (K.O.): A skill released upon death, only once per game.
For specific chess pieces of each of the above types, please refer to the previous article Hero&Mini Basic Information Illustrated
PART 4: Hero selection and chess piece training
Hero selection: If it were the previous version, I would definitely recommend Shield Girl without thinking. This hero exists in version T0. In the current version, choosing the Queen as the initial hero is the optimal solution.
Chess piece training: After the balance adjustment on November 12th, the Shield Girl fell from the altar. The monk, vampire and queen stood up one after another. Only the Barbarian King is still a younger brother. The above four heroes (except the Barbarian King) each have their own merits. The Shield Maiden is still very strong in the early stage, the Queen becomes more powerful in the later stage, the vampire version of the hero is very strong in all stages, and the monk is a hero worth cultivating in the later stage. Undecided in times of trouble, raise vampires. Specifically, you can refer to the chess piece ranking chart below to feel it yourself before making a decision.
The echelon distribution map of various chess pieces from external players does not represent official opinions.
PART 5: Game modes and mechanics
The general process can be seen in the diagram below:
Here are two insights to share with newcomers:
1. In the early stage, except for the three tasks that must be played every day, there is no need to rush to make cups. Stock up on more challenge coins and clear up all the rewards from missions first. When the hero and mini levels rise, it will be much easier to use cards rationally to rank.
2. The cup adding mechanism is different between 8-player mode and single-player mode.
8-player mode: The first four will add more cups, it is difficult to win consecutively, the challenge coins are consumed quickly, and the opponents are strong;
Single player mode: There are relatively few cups to add, easy to win consecutively, slow to consume challenge coins, and the opponent will be relatively weak.
My personal suggestion is to go to the 8-player mode when you have a lot of challenge coins, and go to the single-player mode when you have a few challenge coins, and make reasonable points.
PART 6: Map
There are currently four maps in the game, in addition to the initial map. Other maps have map characteristics similar to the element grid. The element grid will randomly refresh the position:
Windy: Initial map, no special effects.
Healing Temple: Unlocked with 100 trophies (Silver 3). Map characteristics: Units placed in the elemental grid recover one point of health every 2 seconds.
Electro valley: Unlocked with 100 trophies (Silver 3). Map characteristics: Units placed in the elemental grid gain 6 energy points at the beginning of the battle.
banquet hall: Unlocked with 400 trophies (gold 3). Map characteristics: Units placed in the element grid will be copied, and both units only have 40% health
PART 7: Missions, pass packages and krypton gold
There are two types of tasks:
Daily tasks, cycle 24 hours, refreshed at 8 o'clock every morning, number 6. Daily tasks include using a certain mini several times, upgrading a certain mini in a game several times, winning 9 mini-games, kicking the enemy's chess pieces off the board, using challenge coins 3 times, and using the Clash ability (displaying skills at the beginning). Mini waits for several tasks. Daily tasks have a chance to be refreshed once a day, and you can choose to delete tasks you don’t like. Daily tasks have no winning or losing requirements
Tips: Tasks using challenge coins cannot be redeemed = daily must-do tasks, so don’t waste the opportunity on this task.
Mini tasks (can be understood as season tasks). The cycle is one season, which generally requires a certain hero to win several games, how many mini victories, etc. The mission rewards are mainly mini fragments, hero fragments, gold coins, challenge coins, golden radishes, etc.
Tips: The golden radish given in the mission is used to unlock the pass level. Three golden radishes will upgrade the pass level (initially 2).
About the Mini Pass (9.99€/14.99€):
There are two types of passes. One is a 9.9€ ordinary pass, and the other is a 14.99€ premium pass that unlocks level ten immediately, which is the same as the gold ticket of Brawl Stars. The cumulative value of the pass is 2625
Item, the official description is 2500
, it is indeed ten times the value. According to SC tradition, pass hero skins are out of print for a limited time, and it will take a long time to wait for their return. Players who like to collect skins can consider buying a pass.
About Krypton Gold:
Speaking of passes and gift packages, we have to mention krypton gold.
The student party does not recommend spending money. There are not many decks and heroes at present, so it is not that difficult to collect them all. This game requires no money to develop in the early stage, but it is also good to develop slowly.
Don’t hesitate for micro-Kryptonians, the pass is definitely the most valuable choice. The second is the gift pack. You can buy it when you see a gift pack with four times or more value. L3 and L5 level gift packs are not that necessary, it depends on your financial ability.
If you are a kryptonian, please ignore my suggestion above and just buy everything you can buy in the store. This game is currently fully loaded with all gift packs + 10 orders worth 2500 gems.
PART 8: Skin
Currently, there are only six skins available in the game: Arrow Ranger, Shield Girl, Electric Scientist), Miner, Puppet Pika (pass level 26) and "Monk-Primo" (pass level 87). The author didn't pay close attention, so I didn't know what the names of some skins were so I used the hero name instead.
PART 9: Treasure Chest
There are 6 types of known treasure chests in the game. I saw four types in the pass and one type of gold coins. There is another thing that I didn’t observe very carefully, which is the second one in the first row of the picture below. I guess it should be a box in the mall or a mission. If anyone knows, please leave a message and tell me where I can find it.
PART 10: Season
As mentioned before, if a game has a pass, it must have a season. However, this game season is different from other games under Supercell, because the mini will be reset in the CM season. It is still unclear in what form. You can take a look at the information revealed by the design team in the September Q&A:
Q: Will you reset the troops and heroes?
A: Only the troops will be reset, and we will only reset their star progress
Q: Will the skills and upgrades of the troops change in the new season?
A: Not really. In most cases, we will select and change the skills of some arms. While ensuring that the arms have core capabilities, we will also add some new features after the season update.
Q: What’s in the star box?
A: It depends on how many stars you can redeem, the short answer is in the future as we implement new features, the new season of minis allows you to start getting a lot of gold, gems, probably a bunch of hero shards and more
Q: How often does a season reset occur?
A: We were not sure at the beginning. We will focus on bringing new features, such as mini families. So the first reset may take longer, but at some point in the future we hope to do a season reset every 2-3 months (exact time to be determined)
Q: What happens if I skip a season?
A: Reset is applied based on the progress of your last login. If you get full stars in Season 1, but log in again in Season 4, you will receive the Season 4 top star box
