If friends with poor vision seek help, we can make real-time audio and video connections to help them solve some problems in life. Our newest feature, ‘Be My AI’, is a pioneering AI assistant integrated in the Be My Eyes app. You can send images via the app to Be My AI, which will answer questions about that image and provide conversational AI generated visual descriptions for a wide variety of tasks in 36 languages. Be My AI is powered by artificial intelligence and is able to provide assistance in a wide variety of situations, from checking makeup before a night out to translating text from hundreds of different languages.

Software features

As a sighted volunteer, you will be notified when a blind or low vision user needs some assistance. The first volunteer to answer the request will be connected to blind or low vision users, so if you can't answer the call, don't worry, another volunteer will take your place.

Be My Eyes only takes a few minutes of your time and doesn't conflict with any of your other schedules, but it can make a big difference for another person.

Through a blind or low-vision user's rear camera, volunteers can see the item the user needs help with and provide a visual description of what he or she needs.

Software evaluation
