MOD Info
Heart Rate Monitor is a device or application that measures and monitors a user's heart rate. It detects the user's heartbeat through sensor technology and displays the results in digital form. This device or app typically uses optical sensors or electrodes in contact with the user's skin to accurately measure heart rate. Heart rate monitoring is important for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and health-conscious individuals because heart rate is a key indicator of physical fitness, fatigue, and recovery.

FAQ
How to measure your heartbeat using a free heart rate monitor app?
To use this heartbeat counter, just place your finger on your phone's camera and hold it there.
What is a normal heart rate or heartbeat?
According to the Mayo Medical Center, the normal resting heart rate range for adults is 60 to 100 beats per minute (BPM). However, keep in mind that many factors can affect heart rate, including activity level, fitness level, body size, mood, and more. Generally, a lower heartbeat at rest means more efficient heart function and better cardiovascular health.
If your resting heart rate is consistently above 100 beats per minute, or if you are not a highly trained athlete and your resting heart rate is below 60 beats per minute, talk to your doctor
What are heart rate training zones?
Heart rate training zones are calculated using maximum heart rate (MaxHR). Within each training zone, subtle physiological effects occur to enhance your fitness. We have similar definitions used in Fitbit trackers:
- Rest zone (below 50% of maximum heart rate): This is considered a rest zone.
- Fat burning zone (50% to 70% of maximum): recovery and warm-up exercises should be completed in this zone. It is called the fat burning zone because fat burns more calories.
- Aerobic zone (70% to 85% of maximum heart rate): Most major exercises should be done in this zone.
- Peak Zone (greater than 85% of maximum heart rate): This zone is ideal for short periods of intense exercise (HIIT) to increase performance and speed.
This heart rate monitor app calculates and automatically saves your heart rate training zones.
