Can I change my TextFree number?

We know there may be instances when you need to change your TextFree number, and that is why we allow up to one number change on your TextFree account. 

To change your phone number using TextFree mobile:

TextFree Settings.

Tap Account info.

Tap on your TextFree Number.

Tap Change TextFree Number.

Once you tap Continue, you will be able to enter your preferred area code and choose a new number.

Important items to note:

Since you only have the option to change your number once, it's important that you make sure to pick a number you really like.

You will have 30 seconds to choose a new number before the session times out.

If you cancel without choosing a number or the session times out, your number will not change.
