Is demand for REWE increasing?

Our associates in stores, fulfillment centers and headquarters are doing a great job across the country. Whether it’s a stationery store or a REWE delivery service, shelf life food, nutritional supplements, canned goods and pharmacy items are in high demand. We have increased or adjusted the frequency of deliveries to REWE stores accordingly. If shelf space is empty, customer demand will temporarily be higher than planned. Our colleagues in the markets, warehouses and headquarters are doing their best to create conditions so that all shelves can be replenished as quickly as possible. The supply of goods remains stable. We are also prepared accordingly for the REWE delivery service, which allows us to increase stock and delivery frequency at short notice - this is what we do before holidays such as Easter or Christmas.

If a product is missing, customer demand will temporarily be higher than planned. Our colleagues in the markets, warehouses and headquarters are doing their best to create conditions so that all shelves can be replenished as quickly as possible.

Is there a quantity limit?

The REWE delivery service is the first and most popular point of contact for many customers, allowing for convenient and well-curated shopping. Depending on demand, the scope of supply and delivery windows vary. We are delighted with the growing demand over the years and are gradually expanding our product range. In individual cases and periods, offers may be restricted. This is influenced, among other factors, by the respective configuration, availability or allocated quantities, forecasts of expected demand or available space on the shelves. In principle, we will keep normal household quantities of products available for online purchase. The product range includes 15,000 to 20,000 products depending on the location. If the required product is not available, we endeavor to suggest attractive alternatives.

What is the booking status for delivery dates?

Our free delivery slots are currently very limited and are booking up quickly.

Why can I choose to make an appointment but not make a reservation?

REWE delivery service is very popular with customers. The extent of our delivery windows depends on the individual delivery areas, current demand and possible production capacities, etc. Daily free window availability may be limited.
